I started FasterStrongerBetter.com in the Winter of 2004 as a way to take the web design and programming I had be using for personal work or educational benefit and apply it to a situation in which I saw a great opportunity to make a change in the city I lived in and the people I did business with.

For a long time I had noticed that many local businesses were slowly being replaced with chain-stores and mega-stores. Ann Arbor is a very pro-local-business community but sometimes it's just too hard for the local guy to compete with the national chains and mega-stores. Those stores have hundred and thousands of people backing them up working on everything from what color to paint the walls inside the store to make you buy more to doing professional web design designed to make the local sites look like the work of preschoolers.

It's just not fair.

I knew that with the work I had been doing that I could offer local businesses low-cost professional web design to get them established on the web and prevent the "big boys" from making potential customers only think about them as an option. That's when I created FasterStrongerBetter.com.

We currently have several local clients ranging from smoked fish to local marketing to diabetes control. We look forward to helping more local businesses get a professional web presence established and keeping the "local" feeling of Ann Arbor alive and well!
